Natural Boston Newborn Photos

In June, I met up with this wonderful family and their newborn baby girl for photos at their house in Dedham.  The newborn baby’s grandmother brought this white knit outfit from Mexico. The baby’s mother had a similar yellow one so it was a touching gesture that the granddaughter got one wear one as well.  I love the light airy portraits.  There was a beautiful light streaming in from the window that created these gorgeous shadows and lines.  I’m also swooning over all the beautiful hair on this newborn.

Grandma lives with the family so we included her in a few photos.  My favorite images are of the three generations together.  This session was my last in a six month streak of dogs at newborn sessions.  I didn’t realize it at the time that the dog was kissing the baby but it is so sweet. I didn’t include many of the dog in the post, but the dog is pretty attached to grandma and would sit between her legs overtime grandma sat down.
